All the numbering and road name is still there so very few will even notice it the way it sets. The wheels are 100 clean. This engine comes with the box and foam insert. It is a very nice looking engine.
This engine has only been run once or twice. It runs pretty smooth although it does make a little sound as it runs. The box is in good shape although it does have a few spots where the box is ripped or worn over time. If you pull too hard it will come off as the shaft in the no longer holds in on.
The only problem with this engine is the post where it connects the shell to the chassis.
Pulled a 9 car train without any hiccups that's all I had down with me at the time the person who owned this engine before me began to weather the tender it looks like to me. The engine runs good. I had no problem running it tonight before I posted it here though. Nothing major though.
Bachmann made this as a steam engine with a full sized tender. The streaked the side of the tender like the old steamers used to have on them on both sides and never got any farther it seems. All steps, couplets, detail parts are intact.
