So the photo is a Bachmann stock photos of a similar model. It had all the features and characteristics of fine brass model's and yet it was mass produced, economically priced, well detailed and an excellent runner.

Hard to believe it is 15 years already with this model. Bachmann heavy 2/8 0 consolidation painted unlettered 4 this offer is for a Bachmann ho heavy consolidation. The original box, packing and paperwork are all perfect and unopened.

This engine is the model that was a milestone for Bachmann. To me it is very similar to the Erie railroad's 2/8 0s and I lettered one just that way.

The photo of the box still shows the factory sealed package. Built in china for Bachmann circa 2000 features cast metal major components. Imported in 2000 it was model of the year for Mr. Excellent can motor drive excellent detailed ready with 8 pin NRA receptacle bought this model new in 2000 for my Erie collection but never opened the box on this one.
